Labs are an Essential Component of AP Physics

In addition to generating graphs and identifying what type of graph it is - inverse, exponential, linear, inverse square, and writing an equation, you will need to be able to generate an equation from data.

There are two lab activities that you must complete on paper and bring to class on Day 1.

Candy Container Lab

You will need:

a) purpose

b) data in column format with units

c) graph using the Physics Aviary Graphing Program, with a title, labeled axes and units.

d) equation for the line, with x and y identified

e) screenshot of the completed physics aviary success screen.  This will be submitted in class, the first week of school.

Candy Buoyancy Lab

You will need:

a) purpose

b) data in column format with units

c) graph using the Physics Aviary Graphing Program, with a title, labeled axes and units.

d) equation for the line, with x and y identified

e) screenshot of the completed physics aviary success screen.  This will be submitted in class, the first week of school.
