All the Stuff You Need for AP Physics While It's Still on Sale!
-
2-3 sewn in composition notebooks - preferably college rule. It's nice to have a spare in the event your aviary book fills up before the end of the year. If you do not like composition notebooks, you could get a 3-5 section spiral notebook and set it up to be all 3.
-
Folder or binder or something for notes.
-
Scientific Calculator - You are going to need a good calculator for college anyway, so I suggest you purchase a TI-84 or Numworks. You cannot use your phone calculator on assessments or in the classroom.
-
Pencils - lots of quality pencils with erasers. All assignments and assessments are done in pencil. I am an utter pencil snob. I prefer this mechanical pencil for kindergarteners because I write too aggressively for a regular mechanical pencil. I'm a write write write snap sort of user. Kindergarten Mechancial Pencil (it's also refillable!)
-
Highlighter - one is fine. We use it for grading in class. I'll also have some, but if you hate people touching your things, this is your chance to avoid that.
-
1 package of sticky notes - 100.

Optional stuff that's helpful:
-
Ruler - be sure the numbers won't wear off
-
roll of scotch or clear tape
-
ear plugs or ear buds to make it easier to do your homework at home where no one understands that you need to be able to think...
-
chocolate. For me, this means dark chocolate. Like 85%. Bitter almost. But it powers me through complex calculations and all the stupid arithmetic mistakes that show up like a plague in every one's work.

I also recommend a homework folder. You can use it for all your classes, but it will help you remember what you need to get done.
