Setting Up Your Folder, Lab Book, and Aviary Book
There are three essential references for AP Physics 1.

1) Folder- This is a 3 ring notebook or folder that contains all your essential class materials - references like formula sheets, graded papers, notes, and self created reviews. It's nice to have a way to keep extra pencils, your four colored pencils that we use for analysis, a highlighter and sticky notes in this binder - something like a pencil bag that clips in or a simple Ziploc freezer bag reinforced with tape works well.

2) Lab Book - if you get AP Physics 1 credit, some professors want to see your lab book to verify that you've done labs at the correct level. Your lab book contains data, diagrams, graphs and analysis. It is a critical component of the class and an often overlooked resource.

3) Aviary Book - this is another composition notebook where we keep your solutions to the Physics Aviaries.

I would like you to arrive, on day 1 with all of these components set up and ready to go. We will begin with a lab on Day 1.
