Trig Review
There are essentially 3 trig functions that you need to be fluent in for AP Physics 1. In nearly all cases for this level of physics, we can put the vectors into a Cartesian coordinate system and then just use sine, cosine, and tangent to determine the components or resultants.

In physics, we refer to the hypotenuse as the resultant and the legs as components. You often have several resultants in the form of vectors and you need to be able to add the x and y components to come up with an overall resultant.

Before you start the practice assignment, you should consider printing out the formulas and be absolutely certain that your calculator is in degrees. To do this, turn it on and hit the mode key. When you are done, take a photo of your successful endeavors. Keep it to submit on the first day of school.

This skill is as critical as algebraic manipulation. You need to be fluent, not constantly questioning whether you've set it up correctly.
